TEACHER TRAINEES AWARDS 2022 EDITION

Ghana teacher trainees awards is an initiative organized by Frequent Movement Events every year to commemorate the hard work of teacher trainees who are doing extremely to impact the younger generation. They are in a view that teaching goes beyond holding chalk or marker in the classroom.

This year's edition of GHANA TEACHER TRAINEES AWARDS is expected to commence on Saturday,12th February, 2022, in Accra. The occasion will be graced with a lot of personalities and musicians all around the country.
This awards scheme seek to promote entertainment through education. According to research, 80% of the youths love entertainment,
therefore they have decided to create this scheme to guide their colleagues who are into the teaching fraternity, they are of the view that this initiative will promote entertainment in colleges. They knew most of the students liked it when their teachers are liberal and entertaining to them, they do have much love for most of those teachers. Examples are Twins Diaries and Percy Jackson (The Dancing Teacher).
They also aim at Content creation which is the contribution of information to any media and most especially to digital media for an end-user/audience in a specific context. Research shows that content creation is one of the well-paid self employ work that can be done anywhere anytime. They believe teachers are the best people who can do this to educate people through social media and get paid for it as well . Through this scheme will be able to teach the upcoming ones how it work and its benefits. It is a plus to have more content creators who are teachers to change people's mindset of the teaching profession as a comfortable way of being poor.

According to them It is desirous to have a skilled person as a teacher, someone who will not be too straight ,hash or wicked as a teacher. They all want that teacher who will be free, loving, entertaining, caring, motivate or encourage them to do their best but not mostly with cane, insults, or discouraging them. According to research, 16.3% of primary students drop out of school in 2021, they believe if they keep showing love to all the students and find a way to support them, the percentage of school dropouts will reduce drastically. That’s why they need to create a conducive environment to factor in the diverse needs of students.

Additionally, they aim to help teacher trainees how to use or make good use of social media to generate income. Most people just upload pictures and videos on social media just for fun instead of teaching people and making money through such media. Through this, they can seek support for fewer privileged ones or rural schools. Through social media, Richard who is a Computer science teacher and use to draw computer parts on the blackboard can get 27 laptops, 27 tables and chairs, a projector, a printer for a school that has no means of getting such machines, and 137 school uniforms for students, all donated by Microsoft. They can change the nation if they make good use of social media or technology.

The Professional student teachers of ENCHI UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF EDUCATION and well-being has won the WESTERN ZONAL Inter-universities colleges of education quiz competition organized by the Western regional training Teachers Association. The contest was the preliminary stage of the Annual inter- colleges quiz competition which is organized by the Mother Association ( PRINNCOF ) for all UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF EDUCATION across the Country. ENCHICO INTER-HALL ATHLETES SPORTS COMPETITION

Enchi University College, ENCHICO, was the center of enchantments from, 5th to 6th February 2022 as it hosted another College Annual Inter-Hall sports competition. Covid is here and has come to stay. In order to fit into the system where personal hygiene as well as all protocols are concerned, a Student of Enchi College Of Education had made a shocking move to turn the old mess down. As a craft of his, Nkrumah Acheampong Ernest took to himself to use his God given talent to help his college in curbing and controlling sanitation on campus. He move to the backward of the campus to find himself a number of raffia (palm tree) to make a basket. The shocking news is that most of the students shared words of praises to him and also served as immediate scene for some students who had never witnessed how local baskets are made. The 27 year old students of Enchico is from Edweso in the Asante Region of Ghana. Seedy Wan as most known on campus promised to use the weekends to craft more of the baskets so he may share to the various halls on campus!
