Enchi University College, ENCHICO, was the centre of attraction on , 12th to 13th December , 2019 as it hosted the College Annual Inter-Hall Athlete's sports competition.
About total of 150 athletes comprising 80 females and 70 males from all four Halls of the COLLEGE participated in the event that was used to select a team to represent the ENCHICO at the upcoming inter colleges sports competition, later in 2020 at the ENCHI UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF EDUCATION , WESTERN REGION (ENCHI).
The Halls are ADDISON, NKRUMAH, COOKE and ANNOR ASEMA,
The day started with the 100/110m hurdle heats for both men and women, high jump for men and the 100m heat for men and women.

Speaking at the opening ceremony on Thursday, Mr. Philip Antaah, Principal of the college , said this year's games would help prepare the schools athletes for upcoming inter-colleges sport competition which will hosted by Enchico in next year.
He urged students to give up their best as they target to lift high the name of the college through sports.
He was hopeful that, next year's competition would be bigger as it would be organized on a larger scale.
Mr. Joseph Parker, Dean of Students, urged the students to compete in the spirit of sportsmanship in showcasing their talents as it will propel them to greater heights in their respective endeavours.
“This is an opportunity to showcase your talents especially for athletes who wish to do sports at the highest level and must be approached with all seriousness," he stated.
Defending Champions, Annor Asema begun their defence very well as they target to maintain the bragging rights but the other halls are putting out a very stern competition to unseat the champions.
At the end of the competition, Nkrumah hall, the founders emerge as a winner's, Addison hall, the pacesetters, took over the second position, followed by Cooke hall and Annor Asema the defending champions were the last. Ten point were deducted from Addison for fixing a third year student into the competition
The participants who emerge from first to third position were awarded with Certificates and other souvenirs. one historical event happened was, when Gabriel Jumpah (Gaby) break a record to become first javelin athlete with a personal best of 41.44m, since 2006.
